Incredible views and celebrating our natural landscape were only a part of the festivities that took place over the weekend of July 7, 2013, during the Niagara Escarpment Festival Biosphere Bash held at Ball’s Falls, part of Ontario’s Greenbelt.

Commemorating 40 years of the Niagara Escarpment Plan, 50 years of the Bruce Trail and 35 years of the Coalition on the Niagara Escarpment, the Biosphere Bash included bird shows, kids activities on ecology and the environment, and of course time to explore the Falls.

Chris Hamilton, president of Giant's Rib Discovery Centre, led a hike along the historical Ball’s Falls Conservation Area offering information on the natural beauty of the Falls and the iconic Turkey Vulture.
