Grassroots campaign calls on Province to #GrowOurGB and protect water supplies

Exciting news! Last week more than 120 groups launched a campaign asking the province to #GrowOurGB and protect vulnerable water sources. Support for this proposal is growing fast! Add your voice – visit growourgreenbelt.ca to send a letter to Minister of Municipal Affairs, Bill Mauro, asking him to Grow our Greenbelt.

Greenbelt Friends, thanks to the almost 40,000 of you for your ongoing support of a protected and enhanced Greenbelt. From joining us at a provincial open house, to showing your support for the #GrowOurGB campaign, to submitting comments on the provincial Greenbelt Plan amendments – you’re joining a chorus of voices calling for quick and decisive action to grow the Greenbelt to protect key drinking water sources.

The Province is soliciting feedback on the proposed changes to the Growth and Greenbelt Plans until September 30, 2016 – let’s keep the momentum going!
