Greenbelt Transplanted to Toronto's Harbourfront

On June 17th, 2010, Harbourfront Centre unveiled a new large-scale, outdoor photographic exhibition along Toronto's waterfront displayed within 40 freestanding structures. The subject: Ontario's Greenbelt. Eight emerging contemporary photographers have created large scale images that document their exploration of Ontario's Greenbelt.

Each photographer has been chosen to explore three specific areas of importance to the Greenbelt: Working the Land, Natural Beauty and People of the Greenbelt.

The exhibition will be presented in two parts: the opening presents the Greenbelt through the early spring season; the second presentation will commence mid-October 2010 and will display a selection of the first group of images with additional photos of the Greenbelt from the summer and early fall seasons.
